I recently stayed at YHA Patterdale for one night and it was a great experience. The custom made bunks in the dorms provided useful storage areas and the lounge area felt like a hotel. The front of house staff were excellent and the location was perfect, with beautiful trails and pubs within walking distance. I also loved the friendly atmosphere and the option to have dinner together. a fantastic stay.

The staff at Yha Patterdale were extremely helpful and went above and beyond when their card machine wasn't working, allowing us to still stay and enjoy the bar and breakfast. They even followed up with a phone call to update us. The location is beautiful, perfect for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The rooms were clean and the facilities were good. I highly recommend this hotel.

The kitchen and bathrooms/showers were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The room we stayed in was huge with a nice view. The common room and dining rooms were big and comfy, perfect for families. The location was easy to reach and had a well-stocked shop nearby. The WiFi in the lounge was good and free.
